Strictly Sash Windows is owned and operated by Kristian Annett.

Kristian began his career in the UK, undertaking an apprenticeship in a high-end joinery workshop crafting bespoke windows, doors, and staircases for luxury homes. It was there he discovered his true passion for the restoration of traditional timber windows. Inspired by his father’s craft and driven by a deep respect for heritage joinery, Kristian chose to specialise exclusively in sash window restoration.

A few years after completing his apprenticeship, Kristian decided to emigrate to Sydney, where he continued to pursue his passion for traditional window restoration. Over the next decade he built a highly successful business and a life for his growing family. In time, the pull of home led him to sell the business and return to his Welsh roots, where he spent his time reconnecting with family and the landscapes that shaped his early craft.

Yet throughout his time in Wales, Kristian felt a persistent calling, a sense that Australia, and the work he loved most, were still very much a part of him. Ultimately, he made the decision to return to Australia and to recommit himself to the craft that has defined his career, the restoration of timber sash windows.

And it is here that the story of Strictly Sash Windows begins, rooted in heritage, shaped by experience, and driven by skill, precision, and integrity.
